What's the first Showbread song you ever heard?

Postby jennimazing » Tue Jun 28, 2011 7:52 pm

This topic has probably already been done before, but anyway,
the first Showbread song I ever heard was Mouth Like A Magazine on TVU.

The Pig (Anorexia) (I'm lame, didn't get into Showbread till A/N...), and it was also on TVU. Which is weird, because I think that's the only time I've ever watched TVU.

Though a friend of mine claims we both listened to A Llama Eats a Giraffe years ago before either of us knew who Showbread was, and I said "This is terrible" and turned it off. I have no memory of this though.

This entire thread boggles my mind. I mean except Hanson and The Darkness I don't know the first song I ever heard by any specific band.

You all have steel traps for memories. Weirdos.

A Llama Eat a Giraffe and Vice Versa.

Listened to it over and over until I liked it.

Does the fact I got the self proclaimed minimalist to make a post that long mean I win something?

If you combine both of those lists and don't count people who just happened to be on a tour I went to I have heard about 7 of those bands. And I have no idea the first song I heard by any of them.

Here is mine.

MMMBop- Hanson
I Believe In A Thing Called Love- The Darkness
Party Hard - Andrew WK

I don't understand how you remember. Unless you only listened to the one song for a really long time.

Mouth Like A Magazine. At the time, I hated it. But I've grown to love everything these guys do.

Lost Connection With The Head on the T&N podcast. Then Nothing Matters Anymore, I hated both at first...then it grew on me...and now they're one of my favorite bands.
