I took a Age Of Reptiles is by far the best Showbread album this morning after not taking one for 3 days and it clogged my toilet. So I had to call a plumber.

My toilet got clogged the other day. It must have been a poop pixie 'cause girls don't poop.

RF: Part of me thought that spleens weren't even a real thing until a few days ago.

RANDOM FACT: If you use passive monitors with an unpowered soundboard, you're gonna have a quiet time.

RANDOM FACT: When you're too dumb to understand how passive monitors don't work with an unpowered console, it's not the soundguy's fault that your equipment doesn't work.

RANDOM FACT(s): If you ask someone to take time out of their day to run sound for your church (or any sort of) event, do not:
1) start an hour after you told them you'd start
2) surprise them with "oh, yeah... we need to record tonight" near the end of soundcheck
*especially if your crappy setup doesn't have any sort of recording device, so the person has to whip out their laptop and booty-fab up some ghetto-ass recording rig
3) tell them it's just from 3-6pm when you don't even start soundcheck until 4pm and then make him stay until 8pm
4) play nice until you ask them "honestly," how the band sounded and are answered truthfully with "it kind of sucked, but it was okay"
5) NOT PAY HIM WHEN THE EVENT IS OVER

RANDOM FACT: If you ask someone to provide a service for you and offer them pay, make sure you pay them. If you don't, you're a seaking carcass fit for hounds and can go get my vocabulary is poor until you die in a hole full of your own santorum (unless they didn't use lube, in which case, serves you right).

I kind of like all the snow. It's been years since we've gotten a good and true winter.

I like the snow when our car isn't wedged in it.

The few times it's snowed it's been too cold/windy to enjoy it. Which is dumb. It like all immediately freezes into a snow brick.

Alabamas apparently supposed to have considerably colder winters for the next 20 or so years. I have mixed feelings, cause I've always wished we had all four seasons, but rootin' tootin' it got cold. But I anticipate I'll be moving some time between then.

Colorado is very choose-your-own-winter. Up in the mountains it gets really pretty and snowy without it being very windy. However, there's really little out there as far as stores and services. To run any errands you have to go into the city, which isn't hard, but is always a lot warmer than expected. Last year in Denver I was wearing a t-shirt in January.

Ohio winters are confusing. At the beginning of the month the weather was going between 8" of snow and -25 degrees to 55 degrees in a matter of days. We've had snow in mid April or September. It can be like 70 in December. I don't get it.
