They were supposed to play here tomorrow but the stupid scream the prayer tour is coming through town that day so the show got rescheduled to September. The only plus side is I get to hang out with some of my friends who I haven't seen since 2010 when it rolls in tomorrow.

IMR: I'm redoing my living room and bathroom at the moment on a budget :) Got a cheap shelving unit and giant coffee table for friends to gather around (Habitat for Humanity ReStore represent! It's like thrifting for house things), a new coat of paint for both rooms, new shower curtain, some candles and decor-y things and re-organizing my 50 billion books. It's been a great way to break the ice with my new roomie and we're both amazed at how much more inviting the place looks. Pics when it's done!

To put food in the fridge I convince the government and bank that I'm a promising individual and that they should give/lend me $$ 8-) Also I attend university. Which doesn't really count because they take said $$.
"For a living" in the sense I think you mean it, I co-ordinate a First Nations (Canadian equivalent to Native Americans) geared youth center for students coming to the city from small northern communities for high school and have usually no healthy support network. Because of that, and my degree, and my... intensity? haha I get to sit on a council now and advise them on how best they can support initiatives to prevent crime (particularly among native youth). This is pretty off topic but I wanted to answer the question :) There are more plans after that (law) but this is it for now.

Actually it's on topic because IMR! I was just a volunteer before but I officially became a staff on Monday, and we hadn't opened yet because there was no opener but I was voted on for that so we open again after Thanksgiving :) Sorry... I mean the weekend of October 13th...

IMR: I'm going to my second interview for a company called American Steel where I'd be cutting steel and loading it on truck and whatnot. While it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life it's really good money, which gets Darby and I closer to owning a coffee shop.
