Is buying sweatshop made clothing justified if . . .

I bought it at a thrift store?
I mean, I feel like the "dirty deed has already been done".
But I'm still not really sure, what do you guys think?

The money is not going towards the business, but towards charity. I don't get the problem.

Depends on the store. We have a chain of thrift stores up here that donates no money, everything goes back into the business. They're actually owned by Wal-Mart but 99% of people don't know that.

oh yea, that's super lame and I also forget that.

I don't think that's an issue of sweatshop shirts though, more like an issue of "why would you donate to them instead of a salvation army"

These Wal-mart thrift stores must be repelled and destroyed. The whole point of the thrift store is to donate to charity and provide clothes to the poorer people. Not a way to sell clothes 2 times for the price of 1.

I think it's a personal decision you have to make. The money isn't going to a company that employs sweatshops though.

I don't think there's an issue with that at all. Thrifting is baller.

Tis. Tis indeed.
All of my friends say thrift stores suck. Most of them have never been to a thrift store.
High school kids are weird.
I'm weird.
Why am I even saying these things.

I can't believe you live in Georgia though finding MLP and Showbread fans down here is kind of hard.

That's what I was assuming! I noticed we had a few different forum friends so I just assumed you were a forum person.

Good to know that it was you now!
