pretty excited for this, although from what i hear, theyre taking it in less of a classical martial arts film and want to make it more of a "REAL" movie, with an actual plotline along the lines of a fantasy-style revenge story

even more excited for this, a lot more awsome 1 v1 duels, and Ip man opens up his school of Wing Chun. if the original Ong-Bak was one of the best marital arts films iv ever seen, than the original Ip man is THE best martial arts movie ive ever seen. amazing martial arts as well as a REAL storyline is pretty rare

haha yeah tim burton fans have already been talking about the comedic implications that trailer gives. i don't expect it to be as lighthearted as the trailer makes it look. i think it's just a marketing thing aimed at a bigger general audience.

i'm not personally big on will ferrel, but a friend of mine was laughing so hard during the first anchorman that he threw up on himself. i will see this one as long as he comes.

I find will Ferrell to be too over the top in most of his movies. Some of them work (Elf) but, a majority ruin the movie for me. In movies like Stranger Than Fiction I find myself seriously loving the character be cause he behaves so un-Will Ferrellish. It changed my opinion on him a little, but I still can't watch movies like taledaga nights and step brothers. I saw anchorman once. I only laughed at the parts with Carrel and Paul Rudd.

You should also check out Everything Must Go, another good serious Will Ferrell movie.

Personally I love him for his over-the-topness. I guess I understand why some people wouldn't

Frankenweenie 2012

I won't lie, when I first heard about this I was totally skeptical and a little bummed. I used to rent the original Frankenweenie all of time as a kid and I loved it. It has the little boy from the neverending story in it. Its amazing. I really didn't think Burton could improve on it because its already perfect, and I wasnt sure why he would go from live action to stop animation.

After seeing the trailer in before The Avengers I feel a little more at ease with it. To me its not just a movie I like but, a HUGE piece of my childhood. I hope they don't screw it up. I will die inside.

YES! Tim Burton owns my childhood. It'll be interesting to see how they make a full length out of Frankenweenie.

I'm so pumped for Frankenweenie. And screw the haters, I'm still pumped for Dark Shadows.

My most anticipated:

This Is 40
Brave
The Dark Knight Rises
Django Unchained
Moonrise Kingdom

And not in that order.
