Yes, I know it's on nickelodeon. But it's still good. Anyone else watching?

Oh, and maybe I should put a preliminary spoiler warning?

I hear it's pretty amazing! I've finally found the time to go through Avatar, so obviously I'mma go through that before I hit up Korra.

I just finished watching Korra Saturday, and I LOVED it! My friend pointed out to me that there was kind of a "Deus Ex Machina" at the end of the season finale, but I'm sure Bryan and Mike have ideas for what they want to do in Season 2.

Not gonna lie, I hated the ending. Not because it was bad, but because it wasn't ENOUGH. Every subplot was like "this happened. this happened. this happened." Plot points that could have been like BOOM. THIS JUST HAPPENED! Were just kind of brushed aside in my opinion. Tarlok, case in point.

Other than that, I loved the characters, LOVED the art, LOVED the 1920's Shanghai thing going on. I was surprised how much I loved that. It's tricky to live up to something as awesome as the Legend of Aang, and they started strong for sure.

Well, the thing about it was that when it was written and animated, they thought they were only doing a MINI-SERIES, not the first season...
