I agree with Torches.

I'll give you sheltered. Many homeschooled kids are sheltered, all though, I think that's changing a bit.

Snobby, arrogant and extremely immature not so much. I don't think there are any more snobby or arrogant homeschooled kids than you'd find somewhere else. And I find most homeschooled kids are mature for their age, not immature.

i'd say facing the giants is slightly better than most christian movies, though still pretty terrible. if you like sports movies, you might like it, but i don't care for sports movies.

So the zombie trailer isn't happening in the same way. Belmont's like "Hey guys, film a trailer!" and we get all excited and then they go "Oh, you can't film because of insurance reasons."
nonsense.

We're still trying to throw together a trailer, but it'll be mostly still images. We were able to do a photoshoot (which is where my picture came from in the post pictures of yourself thread), but it still sucks.

Oh well. I'm sure my teacher will understand. He loved the idea of a zombie film with a Christ character in it.

Brum is the best person.

All Christian movies suck.

I liked The Book of Eli. Denzel Washington is hot. The Passion of The Christ is maybe good, but I never, you know, watched it.

I've come to this same, sad conclusion.
Maybe (hopefully) one day I'll change that.
Though probably not. I don't want my movies to be labeled as 'Christian'.

There's a really good one that addresses the reality that Christians have flaws much like everyone else called Hidden Secrets and I would consider it a great film if it didn't have one scene where some characters play in a band and its terribly dubbed. It's the best Christian film that I've seen, not for production quality but for quality of content.
And The Wager, starring Randy Travis, surprised me. While not an amazing film it was still entertaining.

oh look this looks terrible.

They played the trailer for that in church today. Because apparently it's important for you to go to Christian movies in order to be a Christian. Or something.

I've come to the conclusion that almost anything that comes from Christian propaganda is (almost always) pretty trashy. Almost all music, movies, TV and whatever some obtuse soul has tried to "Christianize", is corny and counterfeit.

The only christian movie I've ever seen that I actually stayed mildly interested in was that somewhat recent horror one about the house. Even it wasn't all that great, but it was decent - for a christian movie.
