I thought it was about time this thread existed.

Who thought this year's Christmas episode was awesome?!

I haven't seen much of the new stuff, but I do like me some good ol' Tom Baker years. He was the best Doctor, in my opinion.

I always remember watching this one episode when I was really small with people with plastic faces. It terrified me.
Just felt like sharing.

I cannot wait for the new series to start.

Noooooo idea, I was... 6? Maybe. I just remember their shiny plastic faces. And running around. And the underground. But that could be different episodes merging in my mind.

Did they look like this? That episode has robots with weird plastic looking faces, involves a crew of sandminers and i'm sure has plenty of running around.

But I think I'm kind of grasping at straws with that theory...probably isn't the right one.

THE AUTONS

They're what was in the first of the new episodes but the old ones were scarier.

So google archives old Usenet posts, right? From like, 20 years ago +.

Well guess who we found posting online in 1995.

How have I not jumped into this convo?
Whoever found that, Dante, is either AMAZING or totally trolling. I've heard that theory rolling around since Moffat took over though.

I started watching around Matt Smith's first season, but I started with the 9th doctor. I've seen as far back as 8, though.

The first season of the new show would probably be optimal.

I think he's the tenth. Thank you, sir.

Also, brush up on your Potter knowledge. (Barty Crouch Jr. is key in The Goblet of Fire.)
