Is anyone reading The Infinite by Kirkman? I randomly picked it up without any knowledge of its story cause i had some extra bucks. I really enjoyed the first issue.

Yeah! Pick it up! It's really enjoyable. Second issue is supposed to be out this month. Since you're a Kirkman fan, are you reading Super Dinosaur? I haven't had a chance to get that yet.

I just got "Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader?", "100 Demons", "28 Days Later: The Aftermath", and "The Amazing Adventures Of The Escapist" yesterday.
I've only read the batman one, it was alright.
Can anyone recommend any other good batman comic books? The darker and grittier, the better.

The Dark Knight Returns is amazing and so defining. Batman: Long Halloween is really good too. If you like really twisted and off-beat stories read (in this order) Batman and Son, The Black Glove, Batman RIP, and then Batman and Robin issues 1-12.

Oh man I couldn't even get through all of Batman: R.I.P. Bravo to you if you could! I even read all the way to Batman & Robin #10 or so and it turned my brain to mush. With that said, I'm giving Grant Morrison another shot with Action Comics.

My favorite Batman book is The Man Who Laughs. Really short and really gritty. Also, I second The Long Halloween. You might also pick up Detective Comics #1. I think it might be a pretty good run on the Batman series.

They need to come out! It has been far too long.

Not to be a spoiler, just more of a warning. There was some pretty graphic sex stuff in there . . . just warning.

Since the last post in here was on my birthday (in 2011), I am resurrecting this thread.

Has anyone else read Avengers Vs. Xmen?
