vinyl pressing for back catalog of showbread music!

i want to hear some of your guys ideals for what youd like to see done if they ever did release older albums on vinyl. what albums would you like to see pressed?

i would LOVE to see no sir on double lp the first lp a picture disk with the front of the cd on side a with a picture of the band or something on the other side, and the second lp a translucent red with black splatter. for the inside of the gate-fold id like to see the factory making hearts the same picture on the poster and album booklet. i would love to see printed vinyl sleeves maybe lyrics or other images used for this album.

i think something similar should be done for the age of reptiles. picture disk with the band symbol in reptile skin and the unused disk cover of the dinosaurs as the b side or the picture of the band holding the snake, maybe this could be a single lp, the other lp could be translucent green with black splatter.

i think there should be a anorexia/nervosa vinyl box set! i think this could have a to of potential!

There's been some talk of getting no sir pressed on vinyl, but I'd like to avoid getting it as a picture disk. As for colors, i think it would be cool to see it half red half white. Id love to see the other albums on vinyl, especially aor and tfog, but I doubt it'll happen.

The only way this could even almost ever happen would be if everyone who reads this goes out and orders the Who Can Know It? vinyl... Provided the store ever opens again.

I don't think so. Wcki is a limited pressing and their older albums are in the hands of t&n, so its highly unlikely they'll get pressed.

I guess I meant more for the future pressings. A vinyl for Cancer would be amazing, but it won't happen because they don't see a market for it. You know?

Nihilism maybe, but probably not aor. Out of all their albums, I'm least interested in seeing nihilism getting released on vinyl except maybe a/n, but I'd still get excited and purchase it.

They weren't recorded onto tape or anything (as far as I know). It would probably not be a great financial success for them to print them anyway.

As uninterested as I am in Showbread these days, it'd still be neat to get a No Sir pressing. Preferably not on picture disc 'cause those blows.

Woah, Josh. This may not be the forum for this conversation. But you say you aren't interested in Showbread anymore. What did you think about Cancer?

It's a long annoying story that some people know so I'll spare the trouble.

Sara is wrong, but I still need to send her my special edition copy of WCKI. I have listened to Cancer. It's a lot better than WCKI, but yeah. Rizzo's right. It's not Five Iron or Man Man.

I've been waiting for Showbread vinyl since 'No Sir, Nihilism' and was disappointed that when they finally made a vinyl release it was 'WCKI.' I respect that they do not make the same album again and again, and obviously everyone will have albums that they like more or less than others, but 'WCKI' was the only album I can say I really didn't enjoy. That's fine, they didn't make it for me.

For albums I'd like to see on vinyl:

'No Sir, Nihilism' and 'Age of Reptiles' are tied for first
(Obviously 'No Sir, Nihilism' would be a better investment for the band or label.)

and next in line would be 'Cancer'

But, I would buy any Showbread album with the exception of 'WCKI' because I don;t think i'd listen to it enough.

I was just on the Tooth and Nail website and saw that they have just released two albums by 'Craig's Brother' on Vinyl (a band that has not been with T&N since 2000) in limited runs, (300 each) so maybe there's some hope for the albums released to T&N.

And I can guarantee if there was a pressing of 300 "No Sir' albums on Vinyl, and they were being sold through the T&N store, they would not be there for long.

It will happen, promise. Personally, I'd prefer Age Of Reptiles, but we'll do No Sir first. If I manage to sell all of these copies of the Christmas album, maybe sooner rather than later.

Even if I didn't like WCKI? as much as I do I would still get the Vinyl. It looks way too flippin' cool not too.
