I think TFOG was a perfect mesh of every album before, so to me that's their classic sound.

Anyone think that the harmonies were a bit overused on cancer? Sometimes they fit very well, sometimes they felt too loud in the mix.

one of the best things you've posted.

and eagle i personally love cancer's harmonies. the bridge of sex with strangers after the "if my actions are all orchestrated according to holy design..." part is one of my favorite parts of the album. in fact, i think these harmonies are a perfected version of what some of the guys wanted on age of reptiles.

The harmonies are for the most part my least favorite thing about cancer. Although the albums ends up falling about in the middle of my showbread album hierarchy, the guitar and synth part towards the end of you were born in a prison is my favorite showbread moment ever.

I don't count the harmony in sex with stranger - I love the part you are referencing. I'm talking about the really high pitch pop punk harmonies (garrett I think). He does a great job, but way overused in my opinion. I think they are used in all of the songs except tracks 2 & 4.

Anarchy is at least mostly Patrick I think. Its okay, but reminds me a little too much of a man with a hammer, even the organ kinda reminds me of the keys on mwah. I agree, I think garretts harmonies would be more effective in smaller amounts. They're pretty killer on I'm afraid that I am me, but I'm not really into the ones toward the end of escape from planet cancer.

I think the harmonies are what make the punk style used in Cancer so effective! They also helped make Germ Cell Tumor my favorite song on the album.

Oh no! I change my mind! How was Two Headed Monster my least favorite on Cancer? I should be shamed. Worst on Cancer? You Will Die In a Prison.
It kind of dragged to long for me. But hey, nice lyrics.
