my favorite showbread albums, love the music and lyrics. the story is really awesome too, though, i only read along with it once. i prefer just straight out listening to the cds.....because they rule (as do the other showbread cds)

i discovered yesterday that there's not a single song on nervosa i don't like...all this time i thought both albums were flawed, but it's just anorexia (the death and the goat). i like all the other songs on AN.

Yeah, Anorexia / Nervosa changed my life like crazy. A friend introduced me to them a while back and I cried my eyes out.
Anorexia made me think so, so much about so many things. When it got to The Beginning I was just lost. I had to re-read the story later because I was afraid I'd drown the paper with tears, haha.
Nervosa I couldn't stop bawling. So, so excellent. Thank you so much, Showbread. :)

Good to see you made it.

And I'm pretty sure 99% of everyone turned into blubbering idiots when we read Nervosa.

Tank ya. Some of my friends just can't seem to grasp the whole concept of the two CDs. As angry as it makes me, I can't help but feel somewhat sorry for them. If you really lack the patience to listen to two amazing albums, then you are just missing out. :/ Ah well. Their loss.

Man, i thought The Goat was a pretty legit song.
Probably the most industrial on the album though.
but still a good song

and the death had a distinct eeriness to it that i think fit the album rather well.
Regret not.

I'm gonna agree with you on this one. I loved The Goat (A) sooo much. I couldn't stop listening to it for a good week after I heard the album. The Goat, and The Pig from that album. The Journey still gives me these amazing, eerie chills.

Musically, imo, Anorexia is way better than Nervosa, but both are great. Really, The Journey N, The Dirt A, and The Beginning N pretty much would've made the whole thing amazing on their own.
meh.

It's the opposite for me, but to each his [or her] own, eh? I loved Nervosa because it was more of an angry, rock feel, whereas Anorexia seemed creepier to me.
This is strange because I think it should be the other way around. Hm.
The Journey (N) has an amazing typography on YouTube, if anyone has seen it.

Fun Fact: He also designed our logo. A lot of people here might know that, but certainly not everyone.
