No Sir vinyl

Postby JWat » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:23 pm

Just wanted to give everybody here a heads up that No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical might be getting the vinyl treatment later this year. Brent from Broken Circles proposed the idea to me and said if I can cover a certain amount of the funds, he'll take care of the rest.

I haven't talked to the band yet, I'm waiting until I actually have the money to bring the idea to them. What do y'all think?

I want it. It be cool to have other albums on vinyl too. I think a color option should be half red half white

I think it's a great idea. How much cash are we talking about for the funding?

Other albums are unlikely, unless this was to do incredibly well. Don't hold your breath.

$1500 is what I'm looking at, and Brent would cover any other costs.

I'm excited about any showbread album being pressed on vinyl but I consider nihilism to be the most overrated album.

I don't think it's overrated, I just think all the other albums are severely underrated. Personally, I want to do Age Of Reptiles, but I don't think that will ever happen.

Its a pretty good album however its not their best. I consider it the most overrated because most people say its showbreads only good album and those who like their other albums still think its their best one. I like seeing how showbread has progressed as a band. I'd like to see tfog on vinyl but I doubt it'll happen.

Considering No Sir is the only one that any substantial amount of people liked, it's kind of the only one bearing the title "overrated" is even a possibility for.
