I find Nervosa's The Journey to be 981763458971263589716394876192836581265x better than Anorexia's, even though that little kid with creepy laughter turning to hoarse coughing was epic.
I have weird opinions on them. I like The Vulture (A) better than N's, N's The Death better than A's, and it goes on.
I am on the road crew. This is my stop sign.

I consider the creepy kid laughing to be one of the greatest album openers of all time! And I feel the same way when comparing Anorexia and Nervosa, both are absolutely wonderful and it's hard for me to distinguish a clear cut favorite.

I chose AoR and TFOG. But Cancer will blow them outta the water. (Like dynamite but more raw).

I chose FoG and Anorexia because FoG is the most "normal" record out of them all, and because the experience of Anorexia along with its booklet and story is absolutely incredible. The whole thing is fantastic. When I got to the part where Anorexia crawls to the edge of her tower and looks over, I started crying. It was so great. ...But then I changed my vote from Anorexia to No Sir because its classic and incredibly fun to listen to.
You know, I consider Showbread to be my favorite band, but they have yet to release an album that has cracked my top 5... I think. No Sir might come close, but no Showbread record sticks out to me as a perfect album... although I'm now considering No Sir...

that's understandable when all of a band's albums are perfect.

Who can know it?> age of reptiles> the fear of God> no sir nihilism is not practical>anorexia = nervosa> life, kisses, and other wasted efforts.
I predict cancer to fall immediately before or after age of reptiles.

Anorexia Nervosa changed my life. It's the best album of all music in my entire life. It leads me to a dimension of awesome killing, darkness, violence, blood, gore but then leading me to a best awesome experience of salvation, waking up in a paradise, and feeling the presence and love of Christ in the midst of all evilness in myself. It always makes me cry every time i listen to the whole album. I've listened to it a hundred times and it never gets old. i just feel to escape to the arms of Christ in listening to it.

I hope you've read the books with it! They add such an incredible dimension to the experience!

Can someone explain to me why Nihilism is so loved? I mean I like it a lot but to include it in my top three would be difficult. For most bands i prefer older stuff to newer, but with Showbread each new album brings something new to the table, and to dwell on past releases can blind us to the greatness of future ones. Don't get me wrong though guys, I love every album, it just seem strange, to me personally that this one is chosen above the others.

My last post was inspired after reading the comments on Sean's review of Cancer. If that clarify's it.

for me it's because it's the album that God used to make Himself real to me. it quite literally changed my life. for a lot of others, though, it's just the "best" because of the raw energy and originality.
