I'd be cool with the Wedding touring with them.

Who they should tour with is Five Iron. That would be insane in the membrane.

I've always felt like the skies revolt would do great on a raw tour.

Showbread is so unique... but I could see Sent By Ravens with them!

SB needs to tour with Circa Survive the tiles are swollen with water, we will have to move. And the Mars Volta.

also I think it's been 4 or 5 years since Landon was in The Wedding, and even then it was just one or two tours right?
meh.

I don't know exactly how well they've mesh, but I'd like to see The Great Commission on the tour.

I Wholeheartedly agree :D they would probably call it something silly like the "Skaw Rock Tour."

Not to mention we'd finally see the collab/band that was talked about between Josh Dies and Reese Roper (Search "The Thieves Guild" band if you don't know what I'm talking about). I've been waiting 3 years to hear something from them :P

Ok. I was in the Cancer research mood, so I went through the journal again. Halfway through in the Schism of Kimo (after one of their members has just quit) Kimo goes all crazy and backs down from his convictions that he wrote about in original AE recordings. So they play the show for Audio Empire promising to only play their old stuff.

What I'm getting at is do you think that Showbread is opting out of doing a Cancer tour right away, to instead celebrate Life, Kisses 10 years as a part of the whole Cancer thing? Is it possible that they are using their underground street cred songs to draw parallels between Showbread and Protazoa? I'm not saying it is incredibly likely. But who would really put it past Showbread to do something like that? And besides they are in love with the Cancer idea, why would they delay a promising (and likely story driven) tour to celebrate an old album they haven't shown much interest in up to this point?

Maybe we are all pawns in Showbreads game?

I doubt it. I think the main reason they're not touring is because theyre still working on the movie and they don't have a drummer. It also make more since to fool us by doing no sir shows.

Actually, freethemanitee, your hypothesis doesn't seem terribly unlikely. Have you seen Showbread's recent tweet about Life, Kisses? http://twitter.com/RawRock/status/270613057498124288/photo/1
Josh seems to be corresponding with Tae again about the album! This means one of four things: either they re-release the album, or Tae joins the band again to re-record the album, or he joins the band for a Life, Kisses tour like you said. Or Cee Lo Green becomes Showbread's new drummer. I'd bet my money on the last option, but if that doesn't work out, then the tour seems really likely. But at the same time, it really is weird that Showbread would push aside Cancer, Josh's favorite album, for Life, Kisses, Josh's least favorite...

Well Clayton these tours wouldn't be happening untill 2013 and they have already said many times that the movie should be at least mostly completed by that time. Though it is possible that they underestemated it. So they are buying more time.

And Shadowgnome (I actually always thought it was Shadowgame, like you were some huge Yugi Oh fan) I think they have confirmed that they will be touring, although rerecording would be neat. What I am hoping is that maybe this life Kisses thing is part of the Cancer universe and that maybe Ivory and Marvin will contribute to the eventual Patient 3 ep. I always joked that Tae was Patient 3, and maybe Marvin is the replacement for Drew. At least for the time being. That also makes sense if you read Josh's chapter for Marvin in The Joke That We Play On the World.

All in all I think there is still more to Cancer than we have seen.

I don't think their pushing aside cancer. Most likely, the life kisses show(s) (it might only be one show) will be in may. They can do a cancer tour before that. I think the life kisses is just for fun.

Ah, the speculation is all great. It's cool to see people excited about stuff. It would be really cool if they went so far as to incorporate the Cancer story into the band like that.

On a side note, I hadn't really listened to Life, Kisses before, but listened to some today. Not as bad as I was expecting.

Yeah dog, really the only problem is the production. a lot of the songs have cool lyrics and themes that the band wouldn't really be using again untill the Fear of God on, plus getting some mad Tae action is always great. I actually choose to listen to some of those songs. I Am A Machine Gun is a favorite.

I hope the Cancer speculation isn't dead. Showbread couldn't really do anthing to suprise me at this point... I think
