If you could organize your own tour...

what bands would be in it?
Personally, I would love for Showbread, House of Heroes, and Mike Mains & The Branches to tour together. That would make my life.

Who would you choose?

I want...

Andrew Jackson Jihad, opening for 2009 Showbread, opening for pre-King Is Dead Decemberists, opening for She & Him, opening for 2008 Noah and The Whale, opening for 2005 Bright Eyes, opening for Tom Waits, opening for Okkervil River, opening for 1998 Neutral Milk Hotel, opening for a Jeff Mangum/Will Sheff acoustic session, opening for 1958 Buddy Holly.

Yes indeed.

EDIT: I think I just described a single show more than a tour. But whatever, I only need one show. My show is so awesome, it breaks through the walls of space and time. But mostly just time.

Cage The Elephant, The Black Keys, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade fire, Peter Bjorn & John, The Golden Dogs and Fleet Foxes. That would be amazing.

P.S. It's not that I don't like Showbread, it's just that I've seen them four times, and I haven't seen any of these guys.

I'm wasn't saying I've seen them enough, I just meant I do want to see some other bands in my lifetime. :P

I would depend what genres. A Showbread tour I would totally do: Bread, Children 18:3, and The Wedding. My dream metal tour would be: Extol, Living Sacrifice, Becoming The Archetype, The Showdown.

Children 18:3 was busy being abducted by aliens that month; they couldn't make the tour.

I've been to that showbread tour with project 86 as bonus.

I would like to go back to 2007 and see that tour Showbread and the Showdown did with Chasing Victory BEFORE CV dropped off the tour. They only were able to make the first week of it, and I went towards the very end.

Or I would like to go back to 2005 and reattend the southern thunder tour and get there on time. Maylene, Chasing Victory and the showdown, except I missed all but one Maylene song.

I would also really like to see august burns red tour with the showdown again like in 2006, or chasing victory like in 2007. I would really just like it if Chasing victory still existed and toured.

I guess from those examples I would like a tour of august burns red, the showdown, Maylene, showbread, and chasing victory. Or just the first 4 since cv has gone. So sad.

I've seen Showbread... close to, if not, 15 times. It does become enough, especially when they change so much as a band to the point they are now. I'm sure they're still fun and stuff. It's just having seen them in their No Sir days, they just don't do their old material justice anymore.

I would go to that show.
I get up in the morning, divide by zero, howl at the moon and eat a bowl of surreal.

Girl Talk sucks, but it's kind of fun live - like The Chariot except not nearly as awesome. my vocabulary is poor. Girl Talk and The Chariot can't even be compared. my vocabulary is poor Girl Talk. Hipster dance party Age Of Reptiles is by far the best Showbread album.
