You were smart not to. Canada's not all that great. (No offense to the Canadians.) It's not bad it's just... it's basically America only with a high tax on everything.

Depends on where you live. My dad used to work at the hospital in Fargo, ND and there were always Canadians there to have surgery. They said that in Canada they would have to wait months to get the surgery they needed and that they would rather pay and have it done sooner. One guy got hurt on the job and was told he'd have to be in a wheelchair and out of a job for a few months before he could get the surgery he needed. Lucky for him he worked for an American truck driving company and was covered by their health insurance. He got the surgery a few days later and was able to get back to work much sooner.
