the bell jar

Does anyone even still visit this forum? Has anyone seen this? http://lowerthebelljar.com/ ? I know at one time showbread considered changing their name to the bell jar. My theory is that it's gonna be a bunch of nihilism b sides.

I honestly have no idea what this is. What's confusing me most of all is how they have only posted (on the Twitter/Instagram account) pictures of them recording... something.
Suspicious, very suspicious.
In a good way.

No idea what they're doing, but it's exciting. Maybe it ties in with the announcement at the No Sir show.

So I've heard talk of showbread announcing they were breaking up at their nihilism show, so that leads me to believe that the bell jar will be a less active version of showbread with its 3 Portland members.

They announced one last album that all the original members would appear it. The Bell Jar seems like it would be a pretty fitting end title to Showbread's last album. I can't imagine they'll stop making music after that though.

By the way Josh has tweeted about it, it seems more like another band altogether, in the vein of earlier Showbread. Jeremy tweeted Josh asking about Showbread recording a song for it and Josh implied the Bell Jar would be doing it. The ambiguity is fantastic and frustrating.
Maimsmithing pays well.
