I forgot that we'd need a name.. Uh... Anyone?
But it looks good dude. I really appreciate you doing that, but seriously don't go too crazy if you're busy.

how about just "RRM Japan Relief Compilation"? it's simple and gets the point across.
I get up in the morning, divide by zero, howl at the moon and eat a bowl of surreal.

I really like paperweightharmonica's art. Though I was kind of imagining an outline of Japan with something like a raw rock logo stamp in the middle. But that might only look good in my head...

I don't know if there really needs to be an RRM logo on it, if there is it should be very out of the way. Like just a little one in the bottom right corner at the most.

I can try doing an outline of Japan, I'm really down with whatever I just threw that together real quick. I was planning on having the raw rock/no music logo in the middle of the Japanese uh..what is it? dot/circle/flag thing, but I didn't know if people would be able to distinguish it as the Japanese thing or just think it was supposed to be the Showbread thing. I also tried putting in the RRM logo and couldn't figure out the placement, thought I plan to try that again sometime.

And I like both "Raw Rock Relief" and "Songs for Japan" what about "Raw Rock Relief: Songs for Japan"?

If we're doing bandcamp again, I'll need the uncompressed file, so wav, aif or flac.

the really awful joke band that i am is turning into a hardcore punk band that's slightly less of a joke, but i might get them to make a song for it.

If you want my music, I'm in. I just don't want to be promoting myself while trying to make money for a cause, so I'd rather no indication to who I am be put next to the song title (like in the Christmas album). I just want to do this for God and his children. I do acoustic folkish stuff. I was thinking I'd write something about how people condemn others actions and then claim that natural disasters are God's wrath on those people and showing how wrong that is compared to the new covenant of love and grace. But the lyrics would be really obscure and showbreadesque of course :D

PM me or something if you want some samples of past work.

We'd love to have you this time around, man! Glad to see you posting. I might (read: most definitely) need to be reminded that you don't want to be credited, but that's a great idea.

If this relief album happens, you're welcome to put the one song my band recorded on it. http://www.myspace.com/lastchancemariemusic we'd love to help out and would be thrilled to be on it. Furthermore, I'm sure some of our local fans would be willing to donate as well. So, lemme know...

Cool cool! Glad to see so many people wanting to be in on this! Please let friends and bands you know about this, and let people know that if they sign up for a free Book Club account, they can get in on this discussion.

Tayson, do you still have an uncompressed version of the song? I only have the mp3 on my computer.

Forgot to ask.. new site url? I'm thinking either music.rawrockmilitia.com or mp3.rawrockmilitia.com. Any other ideas? I we already have a long site name so keeping it as short as possible is best.
