Re: Music For Japan - Discussion

I have an acoustic song that's almost done that I might be able to submit before the end of the week, but I was kinda waiting on a start date too.

Re: Music For Japan - Discussion

Starting to sound awesome. Bigger the collection the more likely people would wanna buy it. As I said before, I would gladly make a track or two (I has two bands) I know a couple good artists/bands at my school, and POSSIBLY might be able to get The Wedding or The Echoing Green to submit. :pikachu:

Re: Music For Japan - Discussion

I'm on the side that there shouldn't really be any genre restrictions. Lyrically probably on the cleaner side. I'd say maybe like 3-4 weeks to submit. The reason being is it makes sure people have the time they need to make stuff that isn't rushed, also makes it more reasonable for anyone who might ...

Re: Music for Japan?

Yeah, like I would definitely throw together a track or two if we did. I know a couple good local bands/artist that might be willing to throw together something for it as well. I was hopin' maybe an admin might take an interest in the idea though, I'm not sure I could make an idea like this work by ...

Music for Japan?

So I was thinking… my school is doing this Art For Japan thing where the art students submit some of their original art to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to an organization to benefit relief efforts in Japan. I an a couple of my friends are participating, but I was looking online to see if...

Re: Official "Who Can Know It?" Discussion Thread

Yeeeeaaaah. It's kinda all over already. Didn't take long to get leaked. Mp3boo, tinydl, cyberwarez, and freshwap are just among the first results of a google search boasting downloads of Who Can Know It? =|

Re: Official "Who Can Know It?" Discussion Thread

I don't feel like I'm listening to a song, instead I feel like I'm experiencing a moment and the music is the soundtrack underneath the story being told. D: this is ultimately what showbread wants...if they write an awesome song along the way, that's bonus. This is true. I guess I'm just saying tha...

Re: Official "Who Can Know It?" Discussion Thread

This album is musically so straightforward and relatively modest in comparison to say, Anorexia/Nervosa or Nihilism, but I've connected with it more in the few listens I've had than I've ever done with any Showbread record ever. When I listen to The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, I'm sitting w...

Re: Official "Who Can Know It?" Discussion Thread

We got a more concentrated taste of the side showbread usually only puts into 1 song of 10 on the album (6 out of 10 songs had a mid to slow tempo). It was interesting that they developed it out to almost the whole album. I kinda look at it like "Showbread makes a worship album" That's ex...

Re: the official newbie thread!

Hey, I'm Zach, but you can call me Ben, or Benny, or Bieber. (Ha, don't ask) I'm an art student, so beware, I can be really odd sometimes. I'm also a passionate music lover, both listening and creating. So Yeah. That's me.
